Six reasons why women should do mountain outdoor activities
I don’t know if it’s the same in the rest of the world but here in Italy when walking on hiking trails is very hard to meet women, I guess that 80% of hikers are men.
If you are a woman here’s a checklist of six reasons why you should do mountain outdoor activities:
- Walking uphill uses the muscles of your buttocks, you can avoid step machine and save your money!
- Walking downhill stimulates abdominal muscles and lowering blood sugar levels, is it not enough?
- If you use hiking poles you train also your pectoral, you can say good-bye to silicon!
- Walking is one of the better way to avoid cellulite!
- Every activity burn food calories, but more is the altitude more are the calories burned: yes, you will loose weight!
- The sun shining even on mountains, it’s easy to find a place apart where to get a healthy glow.

Walking gives you huge thighs and calves.
There you go. If you want huge calves, go trekking.
