Six reasons why women should do mountain outdoor activities

I don’t know if it’s the same in the rest of the world but here in Italy when walking on hiking trails is very hard to meet women, I guess that 80% of hikers are men.
If you are a woman here’s a checklist of six reasons why you should do mountain outdoor activities:

  1. Walking uphill uses the muscles of your buttocks, you can avoid step machine and save your money!
  2. Walking downhill stimulates abdominal muscles and lowering blood sugar levels, is it not enough?
  3. If you use hiking poles you train also your pectoral, you can say good-bye to silicon!
  4. Walking is one of the better way to avoid cellulite!
  5. Every activity burn food calories, but more is the altitude more are the calories burned: yes, you will loose weight!
  6. The sun shining even on mountains, it’s easy to find a place apart where to get a healthy glow.
