In 1937 Vitale Bramani patents the Vibram sole launching it on the market with the aid of Pirelli. The idea to apply rubber to the sole of his mountain boots come in his mind one year before returning from one tragic alpine climb.
The original design of the sole made with little stars is one of the most copied in the world.
There are several types of Vibram each with its specific use, natural and synthetic rubber mixture; the firsts ones, obtained from the serum of the plant of caucciu are highly elastic, the seconds, obtained from oil, are more resistant to the breach and the abrasion.
